Future world population

The graph shows the three possible results for the future of world population growth from 2000 to 2050. It tells us what will mostly going to happen by 2050 we have high , medium or low fertility rates.
If the world wide trend kept on high fertility rate of 2.5 children per women, we can expect a population of almost 11 billion. The rate in India is 2.72 and this is very important as the Indian population is high and up to 1 billion. Same as in the Arab countries the rate is high for example in the UAE its 2.42 and in Egypt is 2.66. if we have countries with medium fertility rate as in USA , 2.05, the world rate will be 8.9 billion by 2050. With low fertility rate as in Europe and in Japan, not exceeding 2 the world figure will be nearly 7.3 billion.
If this some of high fertile counties will stay at the same rate we will see a world population more than 10 billion and is it was like low fertility countries we will see a population of around 7 billion.

Big Mac and Salary Comparison

This bar chart shows how long a cleaning employee has to work to earn enough money to purchase one Big Mac, in eleven Asian / Pacific countries. The chart also shows the actual price of one Big Mac (in Us $). The overall thing I noticed is that most poor countries’ employers have to work long hours in order to get only one Big Mac sandwich. Pakistan is the poorest country and cleaners have to work 14 hours, followed by India with 9 working hours and then Sri Lanka with approximately 6 hours. However rich countries such as Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and New Zealand as well as Malaysia cleaners have to work fewer hours compared to poor countries to get one Big Mac. What really made me surprised is the Philippines which is a poor country but workers don’t have to work long hours in order to get one Big Mac.
In conclusion, as we all notice, in poor countries where the income is low workers have to work long hours to get one Big Mac whereas in rich countries they work fewer hours.

World Population

The line graph shows the population growth between years 1750 to 2150. The graph gives you the number of population in more developed countries and less developed countries. This was from the United Nations, World Population Prospect, and the 1988 Revision. The estimates by the population reference bureau.
The world population in 1750 was less than 1 billion in both more and less developed countries. The less developed countries are about three times more than more developed countries. In the years between 1800 and 1950 there was a rise in the population growth especially in the less developed countries. In 2000 the less developed countries had a population recorded of 6.1 billion. In 2050 the world population is estimated to be closely 10 billion in less developed countries and it may rise more in the coming years. The more developed is estimated to rise between 2000 and 2050 and also with a slight decrease.
In conclusion , total world population will increase dramatically . but the striking thing is that the biggest increase in the population in less developed countries while on the other hand more developed countries will stay under 1 billion and may slightly fall down.
